A current News Producer and recent graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Lonergan is a passionate writer and broadcast journalist who strives to share stories that matter. She has seven years experience shooting and editing video and is intellectually curious with strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
She began her role as a News Producer at WCIA 3 in Champaign, Illinois, in June 2025. There, she delivers visually compelling and dynamic daily newscasts, bringing local content to audiences of 25K on average.
